I don’t have terrible skin, but I am prone to breakouts on my chin and cheek area – especially during the more hormonal times of the month. I have been loving the Sorbet BB cream, I always get so many compliments when I wear it and it gives such a youthful and radiant look. That being said, when I do have breakouts it offers great coverage, but not quite enough.
I wanted to see if I could get away without wearing a full coverage foundation all over my face, so I popped in at Clicks over the weekend and bought the Wet ‘n Wild Photofocus Concealer to use with my Sorbet BB cream. I am beyond thrilled with the results!
Below is my face without any make-up on and no filters applied…
As you can see, I have some redness under my nose and a few break-outs on my chin and cheeks. I started off by applying the Sorbet BB cream in shade 01 Light. I seriously love this BB Cream and I recommend it to everyone who asks. It has such a smooth and rich consistency and it is honestly like applying a moisture bomb to your face. It offers great coverage for a BB cream and is easy to apply. It leaves absolutely no streakiness and lasts very well. It does not leave your skin feeling sticky, but leaves your skin looking dewy and youthful. I cannot sing this product’s praises enough – thank you for the recommendation Leigh!
In the below photo’s I have applied the Sorbet BB Cream using my Real techniques brush – what a difference already!
The reason I prefer using the Sorbet BB Cream instead of foundation is to give my skin a chance to breathe. It looks much more natural and does not clog up your pores. It is also much more moisturizing and feels lighter. I dabbed the Wet ‘n Wild photofocus concealer in shade E840B Light Ivory on my problem areas, and also under my eyes and blended it in with a make-up sponge. The Wet ‘n Wild photofocus concealer was designed to instantly brighten and perfect the appearance of your skin. It also eliminates white particle reflection when taking photo’s with the flash on.
The concealer is easy to apply, I used a dry sponge and found no streakiness at all. It blends really easily and truly eliminates those imperfections! Using these two products together is such a winning combination. I love the end result.
What do you think?
Disclaimer: The Sorbet BB Cream was sent to me as a giftby the Sorbet brand a few months ago. I bought the Wet ‘n Wild concealer.
