WIN 1 of 3 Black & White Magical Tales Baby Gyms! {+ Review)

Before Nova was born, Tiny Love SA sent me the gorgeous Magical Tales Baby Gym as a gift. I was lucky enough to be one of the first people in South Africa to own the Magical Tales range!

It was love at first sight… I have never been a fan of the garish, bright colours most playmats and gyms come in. And yes, I know it is not for me – but I still have to look at it. The Magical Tales range is absolutely gorgeous, but more than that – the contrasting colours and clever features perfectly match your baby’s innate desire to explore and is designed to support baby’s development from day one.

Our little boy is just shy of being 3-months old. I have no idea where the time has gone, but watching him learn more and more each day and stare at the world around him in absolute wonder is such a gift. He has found his hands, he is starting to hit at toys, and loves to kick his legs.

Every morning, after we wake up and I have finished nursing him, Nova spends about an hour on his Tiny Love Magical Tales Gym. At first on his back for 30-minutes and then on his tummy for 30-minutes (with a long nursing & cuddle break in between). While on his back, he absolutely loves it.

He is especially loving the soft take-along book and the black and white design which helps promote his vision. He squeals every time he manages to kick the musical hedgehog, and this also helps him understand cause & effect. He is not the biggest fan of tummy time, but he tries so hard to look at himself in the mirror that he forgets to cry! The mirror is great for extended tummy time and promotion of EQ.

Every single part of the playmat was designed with a purpose – isn’t that incredible?

It features 8 interactive toys and developmental activities to help develop your baby’s skills. The Magical Tales Gymini focuses on the 7 Developmental Wonders –

  1. Cognition
  2. Language & Communication
  3. Fine Motor Skills
  4. Senses
  5. Gross Motor Skills
  6. Imagination & Creativity
  7. Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

Experts at Tiny Love carefully created the Gymini® to support babies’ growth and development. We own multiple Tiny Love products and are happy with all of them, many were used with our first child, our second and are now being used with our third (4-8 years later!) and have held up wonderfully. It seems like Tiny Love has thought of everything when it comes to their products.
